Philly Whitemarsh prepares for a contest

After a bit of a slow start in the first match versus Wharton Business, PW scored 29 unanswered points to pick up two victories early in the spring season. Acting skipper, R. Keith McLean was pleased with the efforts of the team.

PWRFC was down 5-0 at the start, after controlling most of the possession. The team fought back and tied the score at halftime. 10-10. PW then went on to score 12 unanswered points in second half. The match was highlighted by stellar defense and ball possession.

First match of the spring season: Saturday, March 19th
Players get to the field by 10:30am, bring RED socks and WHITE shorts

First game on at the Gryphons home pitch will start at 12 noon: PW vs. Wharton.

Each game will be two 25 minute halves.
